GUA MUSANG, August 15, 2024 – The Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA) calls for every party, especially those involved in drug addiction or substance abuse, to consider the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) as a friend to consult.
Its Deputy Minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar Nasarah, stated that this initiative aims to make the agency the primary reference point when dealing with issues related to illegal substances.
He mentioned that this effort is also aligned with the recently passed law by the Dewan Rakyat, Drug Dependant (Treatment and Rehabilitation) Act 1983 (Amendment) 2024, which involves a shift from imprisonment to treatment and rehabilitation.
