KAJANG, October 17, 2024 – The Jerantut Narcotic Addiction Rehabilitation Center (PUSPEN), Pahang through the Eko-Nutrien Akuatik Group rose champion for the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) Innovation Project 2024 competition.
The victory was secured with a Pelet Permata Hijau Project, a new initiative to reduce fish food costs while enhancing the sustainability of the fish farming operations implemented in the PUSPEN since the past year.
Meanwhile, the runner-up was claimed by the group KIK Hibrid Inspirasi 9, a collaboration of Serdang PUSPEN, Kedah and Bukit Chabang PUSPEN, Perlis who introduced an innovation to improve the service or treatment procedure of cleaning leg wounds.
The third place was awarded to the NADA Training Centre (PLAK) for their innovation titled Risk Protective Factor (RPF), designed to identify risks and threats of drug abuse that may arise in the workplace, while also understanding the measures to prevent or reduce them.
A total of 22 groups of participants from PUSPEN and State NADA had taken part in the 3-day competition held in the NADA Headquarters since October 15, 2024.
Also present were the Directors of Divisions, State NADAs, and PUSPENs.
