KARANGAN, March 15, 2025 – YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, Minister of Home Affairs, visited the Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (PUSPEN) in Karangan, Kedah, today to engage with the staff of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) and its Clients during sahoor.

This event is an initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MOHA), through NADA, to reach out to the agency’s staff and Clients currently undergoing the Institutional Treatment and Rehabilitation Programme (RPDI) at PUSPEN Karangan.

This programme aims to engage with NADA Clients while creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere during the holy month, especially for those less fortunate.

Additionally, the effort aims to foster a positive environment among NADA personnel, thereby enhancing productivity, strengthening bonds of silaturrahim, and cultivating a spirit of teamwork—ultimately bridging the gap between the top management of MOHA and NADA with their officers, staff, and clients.

During the same event, YB Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution also performed the Fardhu Subuh prayer and took the opportunity to have a sharing session with the Clients at PUSPEN Karangan.

Also present were the Deputy Secretary-General (Policy and Control) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Datuk Makhzan Mahyuddin; Deputy Secretary-General (Management), Mr. Fakrul Razi Ab Wahab; Deputy Director-General (Management) of NADA, Mrs. Shobah Jamil; Deputy Director-General (Operations) of NADA, Mr. Khairul Anwar Bachok; Heads of Departments and Agencies; and Division Secretaries of MOHA.
