Congratulations to the winners of NADA 2024 i-DEEN RECOVERY PROGRAMME

KAJANG, July 4, 2024 – The i-DEEN Recovery Programme of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) 2024 concluded with the Kampung Selamat Narcotic Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (PUSPEN) from Penang as the overall champion after securing victories in both Tafsir Speech and Religious Songs categories.

The closing ceremony, held at the Sri Akasia Hall, NADA Headquarters, was officiated by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Shamsul Anuar Nasarah.

This annual programme aims to encourage active participation of the clients as well as healthy competition among them in spiritual programmes, which can foster individuals with strong characters by using the Quran as the guide for life.

Four events were contested in the i-DEEN Recovery Programme of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) 2024 including Quran Recitation, Tafsir Speech, Azan, and Religious Song which involved the participation of 133 clients under the Community-Based Treatment and Rehabilitation (RPDK) and Institutional (RPDI) programmes nationwide.

Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Secretary General (Security) of the Ministry of Home Affairs, YBhg Dato’ Abdul Halim Abdul Rahman; Deputy Director of Narcotics (Intelligence and Operations) of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), DCP Datuk Zainudin Ahmad; and NADA Deputy Director General (Operations), Tuan Khairul Anwar Bachok.
