SEBERANG PERAI TENGAH, November 26, 2024 – The Penang National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) proudly received the donation of anti-drugs themed chairs and desks from Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP).

This special donation was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Haji Baderul Amin bin Abdul Hamid, Datuk Bandar Seberang Perai, to Tuan Mohd Zaki bin Ablah, the Assistant Director of Penang NADA, representing the Director of Penang NADA.

This meaningful event was held in conjunction with the Integrity Month Celebration and MBSP Anti-Corrupution Fledge 2024 at the Menara Bandaraya Auditorium, Seberang Perai City Council, on Tuesday.

Among the programmes include the renewal of MBSP Anti-Drugs Policy and urine screening tests to show that MBSP is committed to advancing with the Drug-Free Workplace Programme TEKAD). This programme serves as an important platform for a productive, harmonious, and free-from-drug-influenced workplace environment.

The chairs and tables are not just ordinary furniture, but a strong supportive symbol towards the message of “DRUG-FREE LIFE”. They will be effectively used in the implementation of drug prevention programmes in the community and organisation.

Penang NADA also wishes to congratulate MBSP for their high commitment to the TEKAD Programme, who become the model for other organisations in supporting drug-free workplace environment efforts. This dedication does not only depict integrity in leadership but also contributes towards a safer and healthier society. 

Penang NADA also expresses its deepest gratitude towards MBSP for their donation through the Corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme which strengthens the strategic connection between agencies in the efforts to combat drugs.

Together we’ll march towards a drug-free, filled with integrity, and productive workplace!
