The PPA is an annual ceremony organised by NADA to give recognition to the NADA officers who achieved the required competencies and have been accredited as Certified Practitioners in three core services of NADA: Treatment and Rehabilitation, Prevention Education, as well as Law Enforcement related to drugs and substance issues in the country.

For the first time, NADA through the Department of Social Welfare (JKM), also accredited 44 officers who successfully obtained the Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) in Social Correctional Coordination at Level 4, certified by the Department of Skills Development, Ministry of Human Resources.
